This was an extra special session. A’s husband is deployed and she wanted to do photos of her and her girls as a surprise for him. I loved getting to know these gorgeous girls better and can’t wait to hear how B reacts when he gets the book we put together for him.

Thanks again A! I had a great time with y’all!

Jen and Tony are my neighbors and a totally fun, sweet couple with 2 adorable boys. When we were discussing locations for their session, I mentioned that I had been wanting to try the USC Horseshoe. Since they are big Gamecock fans, they were all for it. Even though we had to work around the runners finishing up the race on the street in front of us (5K? 10K? 1/2 marathon? I don’t think we ever did figure it out), it was a great choice.

Thanks again Jen and Tony! I had a fantastic time and can’t wait to do it again

I had the pleasure of meeting with the L family for a session at one of my favorite locations. They are such a fun, sweet family and I had a great time with them.
A few “grandma” shots first…

Then J fixed his hair (I love it!) and we were ready to continue

The kids had fun with this one

J is in the 6th grade this year and quite the cutie.

And Miss J. Isn’t she beautiful?

Thanks again Carl and Birgit!

It’s been a crazy month or so and I’ve fallen a bit behind in blogging.
Billy and Manuela were here visiting from Germany for about 4 weeks. I had the pleasure of meeting them and their one year old son, Tyler, about half way through their vacation. They are a super sweet couple and I had a great time with them, comparing weather differences (it’s cold in Germany already!) and the sleep deprivation that our boys put us through. I also discovered Billy’s addiction to the Cracker Barrel

Thanks again Birgit for setting everything up for us! I’m looking forward to doing your family session in a couple weeks. Billy and Manuela, it was great to meet you and I hope we can get together again when you make the trip next time. Even if it’s just for some breakfast at Cracker Barrel

Melissa Davis Designs is having a 75% off sale right now so I took the opportunity to snag some really cute cards. Here are just 3 samples of the 9 that I got. Are these cute, or what?

Taylor and Anthony are Chris’ sister and brother. I also consider them my 4th and 5th children. I love them like my own and would do anything for them. I think of them, Chris, Bobbie and Mike as a part of our family.
First, a few photos of Anthony. At 14, he towers above me. He’s smart, funny and very protective of his little sister. He’s also got a sweet smile and gorgeous green eyes. He wasn’t real into getting his picture taken, which makes me a little sad. I’ve been wanting to get him in front of my camera since the day I met him.

Taylor is 13, absolutely gorgeous and a very talented softball player. I love to go to her games and just watch her play. I’m also thrilled that both she and my daughter want to take photography in high school and, at this point anyway, pursue it as a profession down the road.

Thanks again Bobbie, Taylor and Anthony. I had a great time with you guys. Love y’all!

Chris is my friend Bobbie’s oldest son. He’s working on becoming a model. He’s also super sweet and has a great sense of humor. Chris had a lot of his own {really good} ideas for poses and locations, making my job easy.

I had a session with his brother and sister too and that post will be coming soon.
Bobbie and Chris, thanks again! I had a great time with you guys and I’m looking forward to doing it again soon

It’s been awhile since I’ve had a 3 year old but D was quick to remind me just how busy they are. He really didn’t want much to do with me or my camera but I can hardly blame him. The fish in the pond, the waterfall and the geese are way more interesting than I am. D will be celebrating his 3rd birthday on Sunday and he is such a sweet, adorable little guy.

Thanks again Jennifer! I had a great time with you guys. Happy birthday little man!
